چکیده

Abstract Natural fibre–reinforced composites are more sustainable than other with respect to the raw materials. Their properties attractive due high specific properties, and especially so wherever damping is valued. As interphase between fibre matrix region of highest stresses, a strong bond essential for any composites’ properties. The present study compares two methods determining interfacial shear stress in natural composites: single fragmentation test pullout test. studied flax reinforced epoxy. For variety fibre–matrix interaction, fibres treated laccase enzyme dopamine, which known improve strength. In observed samples, data, i.e. fracture mode fragment length, scatter when compared data. tests, local strength showed 30% increase laccase-treated control samples. method also permitted an evaluation frictional occurring after surface failure.

Micromechanical Analysis of Random Composites

Micromechanical Analysis of Random Composites by Michal Šejnoha and Jan Zeman Effective elastic properties are found for a fibrous graphite-epoxy composite system with fibers randomly distributed within a transverse plane section of the composite aggregate. Two different approaches are examined. The first approach assumes a well defined geometry of the fiber arrangement and specific boundary co...
